Nicolas Schneider studied economics at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (B. Sc.) and technical business administration with focus on energy management (M. Sc.) at the Technical University Clausthal in the Harz Mountains. He wrote his master’s thesis in the field of experimental economics research on transformation processes in the sustainability sector, explicitly that of the public good plastic avoidance. His interests lie in the field of innovative and regenerative energy production as well as economic sustainability considerations.

In this regard, he was active for a long time in the Founders Club e. V. of the University of Freiburg, which deals with sustainable business ideas and companies. Since the end of March 2022, he has been supporting clients at GALLEHR+PARTNER® in national emissions trading, assisting in the implementation of transformation concepts and in the preparation of energy assessments and conducting internal audits at the interface techno-economic analysis.
